In the kitchen, Merritt chose rich Oak cabinets to highlight the delicate color pallet of the marble counter tops. Glass drop lights were installed to enhance the subtle colors in the new tile flooring while the stainless steal appliances gave a modern finish to this once disheveled kitchen.

After ripping out stained carpet, Merritt installed vibrated oak 3/4' hickory flooring and turned a once dark staircase into an illuminated passage.

Merritt revived this dreary bathroom by replacing the canary yellow fixtures with textured ceramic slates, a speckled sink top and new tile floors. The window was widened and frosted to allow in natural light and a large tiled shower replaced the sunken bathtub. The refreshing lavatory now serves as a great space to start the morning or greet a guest.
